Soul Kernal
In the first half of the 21st century an oil rig operating in the Gulf of Mexico suddenly and violently exploded, three days into the spill, a dark red substance began to spread out blooming into a strange fungus that twisted everything it touched. This event would come to be known as the Daemonspora, and 50 years later through divine technology and infernal transformation it has brought about the end of humanity as people had known it.

Broken Bronze
The Glorious Age of Bronze has ended, and an age of brittle & ugly iron is now before us. It has been 100 years since the Atala Calamity brought about an age of famine, plague, & war. Now the factory palaces of Hellagro lie abandoned, the wonders of their automata and storehouse of wonders broken & forgotten. The once holy and rich land of Blessed Hapinebu lies divided after the death of its last sun queen, while north of Isial’s Womb, unstable upstarts claim its lands. The Great Syberan Empire retreats to its island leaving Urnin & its great forges to burn, the secrets of Orichalcum & Adamant lost as the once proud fleet of chariots sit rotting in the fields. In this twilight of civilization horrors, beasts, pirates, & raiders grow rampant and wild. Shadowing over all of this is the dread of strange ships in the mist sailing from what is left of Atala with crews more monster than men, leaving little in their wake.
Not since the fall of the First City and desolation of the Sacred Kingdom has the world known such chaos. It is a time in need of heroes, for it is an age of blood and fire, where much has been lost, perhaps never to be regained.

In the liminal spaces of the world The Devouter lives waiting for those who are isolated. It shifts reality and consumes them with its metal teeth transporting them to the Marsh of blood, bone, and rust. Those who survive Marsh find themselves in the maze of tunnels and rooms that is its body. You are the Devoured, you are a Survivor…for now.

After an age of strife and disasters, humanity rose to the dawn of a new renaissance of human progress. Sadly, it would not last as the stars, unknowing or simply uncaring of humanity, set in motion their own plans for the blue marble. So it came to be that humanity’s golden age was destroyed by the twisted starfire mysterious meteor storm,reducing the world to madness and ash.

A century has passed since humanity was robbed of its future and mankind has scraped together their societies and survived. However, strange and corruptive magic has taken root. Now the land warped magic, mutation, fetal gods, and otherworldly horror. It is unclear if humanity shall live to see the dawning of another century.
